Kodo Millet Idli

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kodo millet
  • ½ cup urad dal (black gram)
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions:

  1. Soak the kodo millet and urad dal with fenugreek seeds in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain the water and grind the mixture to a smooth batter, adding water as required.
  3. Let the batter ferment for 8-12 hours in a warm place.
  4. Once fermented, pour the batter into idli molds and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Serve with coconut chutney and sambar.
